The Happy Campus team have been busy over the last couple of weeks arranging a number of events to keep you entertained as winter is coming (Jon Snow)…… so, stand by your beds and get ready for, a quiz, a bake-off and a party!
The legendary Happy Campus Quiz returns on Friday 20 November – Pay day!
When: Friday 20 November, 5.00pm – 10.30pm
Where: Student Central
How Much: £10 per team (Teams of 4)
Amazing prizes, tat raffle and the usual shenanigans will be packaged up for your entertainment. The Estates team will be selling properly delicious pizza (for only £2) and a range of soft and alcoholic drinks. Everyone is welcome.

Money raised will be donated to both Cancer Research UK and Stand Up to Cancer
Unfortunately Mary and Paul are unavailable, but we have secured an experienced baker in the form of Allison Whitmarsh, a former University of Huddersfield student and Managing Director of Huddersfield based company Propermaid. Allison will be supported by a couple of as-yet unidentified judges.
When: Tuesday 1 December, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Where: Large Conference Room
How Much: £5 per entry
Register via Eventbrite or pay your fee to the Staff Development Office (CS7/05). On the day, bring your bakes to the Large Conference Room at 12.00pm, judging will start at 12.30 prompt.
All proceeds will be donated to both Cancer Research UK and Stand Up to Cancer
After the event, cakes will be sold to raise further funds for these very important charities.
If you can remember previous Happy Campus Christmas parties - you weren’t there, as veterans of this prestigious event will testify. Drinks on arrival, buffet, panto, Staff House Band (8-bit Monsters) and disco organised by our very own First Year Events Management Students, the details for this year’s party are as follows:
