The 14/15 academic year is a productive year for all the VIV group members. We have published high quality papers to journals and conferences in a wide range of research areas. Our members are also actively involved in organising and attending research events. Here are some notable outputs:

University Teaching Fellow

Dr. Carlo Fabricatore has been promoted to University Teaching Fellow for his innovative Teaching and Learning research and practices.

PhD Success

Dr. Hosain Aboaisha has successfully defended his thesis – The Optimisation of Elementary and Integrative CBIR Techniques – in the viva and has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in this September.
