United Nations, FCO, DfID and EU Careers Talk
Tue, 03 Nov 2015 15:42:00 GMT
Are you interested in working for large international organisations that require students to have an international outlook? The University of Leeds has reserved 50 places for University of Huddersfield students at a careers talk with visiting speakers from:
The United Nations
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office
The Department for International Development
The European Union
These speakers will talk about the organisations they represent, some of the typical roles they have and what they entail. They will also talk about the experiences you need to cultivate and the skills you need to hone to compete successfully should you aspire to a career with them.
The talks are open to students of all disciplines and all levels from first year undergraduates to postgraduate researchers and will take place in the Conference Auditoria at the University of Leeds from 6.00pm to 8.15 on Tuesday 17 November 2015.
This is a rare opportunity to hear from representatives from these organisations - don't miss out!
