Using LEGO® to model your teaching and learning beliefs and practices
The aim of the session is to get participants to think with their hands by building LEGO® models. LEGO® bricks enable you to visualise thoughts, ideas and reflections using metaphors and storytelling (Nerantzi & Despard, 2014). This session will employ some of the principles of the LEGO® Serious Play methodology. Participants do not need significant technical LEGO® skills to participate in this workshop.
Staff are invited to join this free session on Friday 20 November 2015 at 10.00am to 12.00pm. The session will take place in the Large Conference Room (CSB Level 7). Tea and coffee will also be provided.
Objective of the Session: Build and create 3D metaphorical models using LEGO® bricks as a tool reflect on your teaching/training practices.
