On Monday 1 June Computing and Library Services will permanently disable the ‘Theatre’ AD account.
The Theatre account contravenes the regulations of our network service provider (JANET) and was the root cause of a recent Malware outbreak.
Currently anyone who logs in using the theatre account will receive a pop-up with the following message:
Cessation of the Theatre account
You have logged in using the Theatre account. From Monday 1 June 2015 this account will no longer be active or available for use.
Please cease using the Theatre account and log in using your personal University account.
The Theatre account is being disabled as its use does not comply with national JANET network regulations.
