An International Success

Here in the Business School we are proud hosts to a high number of international students, a large proportion of the total international student body of the University. This is why we are delighted by the latest results of the International Student Barometer (ISB) ranking the University of Huddersfield among the top five places to study in the world.

The latest results of the independently-conducted ISB – a survey of 160,000 international students in 180 universities across the world – showed that Huddersfield is the best place in the UK and third best in the world to live as an international student.  The University itself was ranked fifth in the world overall as a place of study.

Having such a great mix of students from around the world is an invaluable asset to our learning environment, not only helping our students get a truly global perspective in their fields of expertise, but also contributing to campus life through the many events that international Student Societies put on throughout the year, allowing their peers to experience and learn about foreign cultures. Given their immense impact on life in Huddersfield, it gives us great pleasure to know that our international students are truly enjoying their time with us.

Business School International Director Mohamed Mirza commented: “Our international students bring a wonderful diversity to the university campus. We are thrilled with the results of the barometer and extremely proud that all the hard work and effort by the University of Huddersfield staff has been effective in making sure our international students have this world-ranking experience.”
