Juliette Healey, the Bank of England Agent for Yorkshire and Humberside, will be hosting a guest lecture in the Diamond Jubilee Lecture Theatre, in the Business School as part of the CMI Distinguished Lecture Series. The event entitled ‘In Pursuit of a Sustainable Recovery’ will take place on Wednesday 11 March at 5.45pm to 7.30pm.

Juliette's role in the Bank of England involves forming a view on the UK economy by talking to businesses in Yorkshire and the Humber about their current activities and future prospects. This view, along with that of her colleagues across the UK, is an important input into the policy making process at the Bank of England.
During her guest lecture, Juliette will highlight key issues and risks facing the UK economy and uncover the prospects for interest rates and other policy responses possible today. The event is open to all and refreshments and cake will be provided.
