Walking for sustainability

Mon, 15 Jun 2015 09:18:00 BST

Are you feeling like you need a break from your computer screen and wishing you could get out for a nice walk and to stretch your limbs?

Well, the sustainability group at the University of Huddersfield will soon be hosting monthly walks on campus. The purpose of these walks will be a great way to learn and share knowledge about environmental initiatives, ecology, permaculture, sustainable commuting as well as to consider what we would like our surroundings to really look like under ideal social conditions.

Anyone is welcome to attend. Walks will usually be held at 1pm on the 1st Wednesday of each month – meeting at the reception area of the Harold Wilson building. For further information and to book your place then email Alex Bridger to confirm: a.j.bridger@hud.ac.uk
