The IM15 Informatics Showcase draws to a close

This year’s showcase brought together exciting and innovative products that utilised digital interactive applications covering web app development, visual design/graphics, animation, video, sound and scripting/programming.
The event took place on 3rd June, in The Business School and was attended by nearly 200 guests throughout the evening. The event received compliments for its diverse range of student work, modern branding, draping/ aesthetics, visual themes and exciting DJ set provided by J:BARR.
Our overall guests included current students, alumni, staff, family, friends and industry representatives from Servo, Parabis, Al-Murad Tiles, Fishtank Creative, Elder Studios, BrownHog, Kirklees Housing, Kirklees Safeguarding Children and West Yorkshire Police. Some of our students were given on the spot job offers, and two were invited for first interviews and the rest made interesting and new connections with industry.
