Yorkshire will host a key warm-up game for England Netball ahead of this summer’s World Cup in Australia.

The match will be organised by Yorkshire Jets and take place here in the University of Huddersfield’s sports hall on Saturday 11 July - a month before the tournament in Sydney.

England Head Coach Tracey Neville’s squad will take on an England Select for the game, which will begin at 2.00pm.

The main clash will be followed by a warm up for the England under 19 squad, who also play in Australia this summer. The U19 squad includes 19-year-old Lydia Walker, who is from Huddersfield.

Schedule:

1.00pm - doors open

2.00pm - England v England Select game

3.15pm (approx) - match finish and cool down, autograph opportunity with the players

4.00pm - England U19 v England U19/U21 Select game

5.15pm (approx) - match finish and cool down, autograph opportunity with the players

6.00pm (approx) - hall cleared
