‌‌The University Open Days play a vital role in our recruitment activity and visitor figures last week increased yet again by 14% compared with last year.   On Wednesday 24 June there were 981 attendees and on Thursday 25 June there were 1,422 prospective students attending.  In addition to prospective students, everyone brought along friends and family to enjoy the day and find out more about the University.

These Open Days are made possible by a great team effort from staff and student helpers from across the University.  Thank you to all involved in making last week’s Open Days such a great success.

Here are some of the comments from visitors:

“I really enjoyed the day and thought the whole event was very well organised and very helpful and informative.  Speaking to others who had attended other University Open Days prior to this, it compared very favourably and the atmosphere around the whole campus was very friendly. It has definitely made me consider studying at Huddersfield more. Thank you”.

“I really enjoyed the open day, and it let me see how beautiful the campus at Huddersfield is! It also gave me a better insight to the course and the accommodation available at Huddersfield”.

“Great university facilities and friendly people with good advice”.
