P.A.P.A Rollout

Following on from the earlier staff news item this is a further update on the latest position and next steps in the implementation of the new Pre And Post Award system (P.A.P.A).

From Monday 3 August, the Research and Enterprise Pre and Post Award teams will be using P.A.P.A for all costing and processing of research and enterprise projects, along with the key “Super-Users” in each school – principally the Research Administrators.

Training sessions will take place with proposed academic users in Schools to roll out the full use of the system for recording internal peer review and Dean approval of costings pre-submission, as well as for post award project monitoring. Sessions will be arranged with the Schools from the start of the academic year, initially for staff who currently hold external funding projects, and for regular applicants for funding. Anyone who is planning to submit a proposal over the summer months, please contact the Pre-Award team direct to arrange early access to the training and to the system.

Access to PAPA is administered via the AGRESSO team – and as such, users will need to complete the relevant forms (new Agresso user form and data protection statement) available here and return it to: agressosup@hud.ac.uk
