Essential electrical maintenance

In order to carry out maintenance of the electrical distribution on campus the following buildings will be closed on Sunday 26 July from 7.30am to 2.00pm. The buildings affected will be:
- Student central
- Central Services Building
- Technology Building
- Creative Arts Building
- Harold Wilson
- Journalism and Media
- West Building Lecture theatres
- West Building
- St Paul’s Hall
- Researcher Hub
- Chemical Engineering
- Science Building
- Ramsden Building
- Milton Building
During this time there will be no access to the buildings, this is to ensure the safety of all concerned.
As noted by our colleagues in computing, through the weekend the operation of our IT systems will be significantly reduced. The planned maintenance will ensure our systems are safe and reduce the likelihood of unplanned outages.
