The Students’ Union would like to invite staff to join in the fun with their comedy night on Thursday 22 January at 7.00pm at the Lawrence Batley Theatre. As part of their Refreshers’ Week they have a great line-up of comedy for staff and students to enjoy.
Back by popular demand is compere Adam Rowe and he'll be welcoming the likes of Seann Walsh and Shaziz Mirza to the Lawrence Batley Theatre stage for a night of laughs and hi-jinks.
Seann Walsh - Star of Channel 4’s ‘Stand Up For The Week’, BBC1’s ‘Live At The Apollo’ and ‘Michael McIntryre’s Comedy Roadshow’.
Shaziz Mirza - She guarantees audience laughter with her biting deadpan observations' (The New York Times).
Anthony J Brown - As seen on 'The Stand Up Show', 'Phoenix Nights' and 'Attitude'.
Mark Simmons - 'A talented comic with an artisan’s grasp of joke-writing' (Chortle).
