Eating Disorders Day Conference

Wellbeing and Disability Services are pleased to be holding this event in partnership with UMHAN (University and Mental Health Advisors Network) and Student Minds.  This day conference will look at a university perspective for supporting students with eating disorders. The conference will look at the importance of supporting students with Eating Disorders within a university setting.  Key areas will include:

  • Eating disorders and their impact
  • Working with male clients
  • The role of mental health mentors supporting students with eating disorders
  • Student Minds - student panel
  • Running a support group
  • Binge Eating Disorder

Date

Friday 20 February, 9.30am to 4.30pm (registration and coffee from 9.00am)

Cost

£120 includes speeches, one workshop, lunch and refreshments.
