National Student Volunteering Week

It is National Student Volunteering Week and the University of Huddersfield’s Students’ Union is organising a variety of events, volunteering opportunities and workshops. National Student Volunteering Week started on Monday 23 February and will end on Sunday 1 March.
As part of National Student Volunteering Week this year students and staff will have the opportunity to help the Students’ Union accomplish a Record Food Donation attempt. On Thursday 26 February students and staff will be able to contribute to the Food Donation Drive by donating as much imperishable food as they can that will be donated to local foodbank, The Welcome Centre. The main collection point will be based all-day at the entrance of Student Central.
