Discounted MetroCards for Staff

New Scheme: May to December 2015
The University has arranged with West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive/Metro the facility to purchase discounted MetroCards.
Staff will be able to pay for West Yorkshire MetroCards through instalment payments via payroll deduction. The next Metrocard scheme will commence on 1 May until 31 December 2015.
What cards are available to buy?
The scheme covers the five MetroCards that are currently offered for West Yorkshire Metro regions.
- A bus only card – valid on all West Yorkshire bus services.
- All train journeys in Zones 1,2 & 3 (buses throughout W Yorks. area)
- All train journeys in Zones 1,2,3 & 4 (buses throughout W Yorks. area)
- All train journeys in Zones 1,2,3,4 & 5 (buses throughout W Yorks. area)
- All train journeys in Zones 2,3,4 & 5 (buses throughout W Yorks. area)
- MetroCards are valid on virtually all ordinary stopping bus services in West Yorkshire
How do I join?
To join the scheme, new customers will need to complete a form by Friday 20 March. Existing customers can select the appropriate MetroCard type and email their renewal request.

How do I join?
You will need to complete a ‘Company MetroCard' Application form, which can be downloaded from here: Employee Benefits or requested by contacting sustainability@hud.ac.uk or collected in person from the Estates and Facilities Reception.
Completed forms should be returned together to ‘Estates and Facilities Reception’ at their new campus location at Bridge House, Aspley Marina.
Closing Date for applications: Friday 20 March 2015.
