Internet access issues

We are currently experiencing intermittent disruption to our internet connection. A series of deliberate (denial of service) attacks designed to disrupt internet traffic are affecting many universities in the UK this week. Although this problem is not under the control of the universities affected, the national network provider is doing everything within its power to fend off these attacks.
Should these attacks continue, the University may take the decision to allow extensions to students for assignment submissions.
