Wellbeing and Disability Services, in conjunction with the School of Human and Health Sciences, is holding an event to help celebrate University Mental Health and Wellbeing Day on 19 February.

According to the Mental Health Foundation every year one in four people will experience some kind of mental health problem, with mixed anxiety and depression being the most common mental disorder in Britain.

From 11.30am to 2.30pm free tea (and cake, for a small donation) will be available in the atrium of the Central Services Building, with external organisations and University staff on hand to talk and provide information to anyone worried about mental health and other issues.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event which has been organised by Linda Coldwell from the Wellbeing Service.
