Lynn Romeo, chief social worker

On Tuesday 21 October 2014 Lyn Romeo, the Government's Chief Social Worker for Adults visited the University of Huddersfield. Lyn met with all of the final year qualifying students on Social Work BSc(Hons) and Social Work MSc in their Social Work with Adults module.

Lyn provided an overview of the current and future opportunities and challenges of working with adults. The students were provided with the opportunity to ask Lyn a number of great questions, ranging from Alan Wood’s (President of the Association of Directors of Children Services) recent comments about social work education, to the support social work staff can expect to receive from their employers.

Find out more about Lyn's work and our exciting Social Work BSc(Hons) and MSc courses that are approved by the Health and Care Professions Council
