Social Enterprise Workshop

All students, recent graduates and staff are invited to attend this free event to find out more about Social Enterprise on Friday 7 November from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The event will be delivered by CASE here on campus in Quayside (Level 2, Central Services Building).
Six reasons why it’s a good idea to attend:
- You are interested in learning more about Social Enterprise.
- You keep hearing the term ‘Social Enterprise’ and wonder what it actually means.
- You are already involved with a charity, organisation or business which delivers a community benefit.
- You have an idea or a desire to address a social issue and wonder if it is possible.
- You are running a commercial business which may well interact with Social Enterprises as clients/suppliers and want to understand their business model more.
- You are just interested in learning something new.
CASE is a developing Social Enterprise based here on campus. The founders are, Philip Clegg from the Enterprise Team and Catherine McGrath, with support from the University, UnLtd and a Santander Spark Award.
CASE’s mission is ‘to develop an effective support ecosystem for Social Enterprise development on campus and within our local community'.
