New eCover system for coursework extensions

This term we are launching a new approach to coursework extensions. It will mean a consistent system across the University that will improve the quality of the student experience and reduce burdens on academic staff.
In all Schools except Human and Health Sciences (where a parallel but paper-based system will operate), students will use the eCover system for extension requests.
Any student requesting an extension will have to use this system, accessed through the Portal. All authorisations will be made by module leaders, with more complex issues being automatically escalated.
Please note that individual members of academic or support staff cannot grant any form of extension outside this system; students enquiring about extensions should be directed to the Portal.
