Postgraduate Research fee-waiver scholarships

Students in line for a first class honours degree or a distinction in a taught Master’s programme may be eligible to enrol for a full-time PhD or Master’s by Research within the School of Human and Health Sciences.

This means that for successful students who apply for the scholarship, they will have no fees to pay. There are a range of subject areas to choose from, in line with the School’s five Research Centres, as part of the Institute for Research in Citizenship and Applied Human Sciences (IRCAHS). Although the Institute has supplied examples of research areas, the list is not exhaustive and state that proposals that bring together multidisciplinary research across Centres are welcomed.

The Institute is seeking strong proposals which meet with relevant interests and expertise. In addition to the Institute’s fee-waiver scholarship, there are two other schemes available for application, including the Vice Chancellor's Fee-Waiver Scholarship and Bursary and The Behavioural Sciences Fee-Waiver Scheme.

The closing date for applications is Monday 30 June 2014, further details of which are available on the website.
