Factors Affecting Customer Loyalty in Islamic Banks in Jordan

Islamic banking in Jordan started around three decades ago. Since then Islamic banks with their compliance to principles of Islam have been a major part of the institutional fabric of the Middle East at a time of turmoil in Middle Eastern politics. Today, Islamic banks in Jordan face a high level of competition not only from other Islamic banks but also from non-Islamic rivals. To compete effectively, Islamic banks are trying to increase customer satisfaction and retain customer loyalty to ensure their service quality is of an extremely high standard. Customer loyalty in banking has recently become a topic of interest for academicians and researchers too.
This presentation will focus on how marketing can be improved through service quality and customer satisfaction impacting on customer loyalty of Islamic banks in the Jordanian market.
About the Presenter: Ala’ Dandis started his full-time PhD study in 2013 in Marketing in the University of Huddersfield Business School. He is a Lecturer from the Management and Marketing Department, Faculty of Business Administration- Mutah University, Al-karak, Jordan.
