The Research Festival is an annual event held at the University to demonstrate the impact of research to both an internal and external audience. Previously an internal only event, the University has now opened the invitation to external audiences with a key aim to celebrate and showcase the diverse ways it conducts research.

This year’s festival will be held over a four day period from Tuesday 8 April to Friday 11 April 2014, in which the School of Human and Health Sciences research shall be showcased on day three

Starting at 2.15pm in the George Buckley Lecture Theatre in the Researcher Hub, guests will be welcomed by Professor Jim McAuley, Associate Dean for Research and Enterprise. The afternoon’s event will showcase a variety of research examples and case studies, from four of the Research Centres as part of the Institute for Research in Citizenship and Applied Human Sciences (IRCAHS).
