“The most influential thinker in the contemporary art world”

Through a successful collaboration with the University of Leeds in a bid to the Leverhulme Trust for a Leverhulme Visiting Professorship, Dr Alison Rowley, School of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Huddersfield, and Professor Griselda Pollock, School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, University of Leeds, have organised a programme of lectures, seminars and workshops at the University of Leeds and the University of Huddersfield.

Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, who was voted top of Art Review’s ‘Power 100’ for her groundbreaking directorship of dOCUMENTA 13 in 2012, will deliver two lectures at the University of Hudderfield, on 2nd April and 22nd May 2014, and will conduct seminars with final year students on the Contemporary Art and Illustration course in the School of Art, Design and Architecture.
