Representatives from Costco will be visiting the University on Wednesday 18 June to offer discount membership to staff. They will be located in the atrium of the Central Services Building (Level 4) between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
Costco is a membership warehouse club that sells a wide selection of top quality brand name merchandise at low warehouse prices. They sell everything from croissants to carrots and from dog food to diamonds.
Costco has locations throughout the UK with local stores in Leeds, Oldham, Manchester and Sheffield. These stores are not open to the general public and membership is required. Costco has agreed to provide membership to all staff at the University, for an individual annual membership fee of £30.00 (inc. VAT), which includes a complimentary spouse/partner card, which can be used at any store.
Speciality departments include:-
- Fresh deli and produce
- In-house bakery and butchery
- Cafe
- Tyre Centre
- Opticians
- Fine wines, beers and spirits
- Electrical appliances and much more
To join please provide your University ID card or current payslip, plus a current utility bill (gas, telephone or electricity) or a bank statement addressed to your home.
