Congratulations to staff who recently received their long service awards, many of whom attended a celebratory gathering, where the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bob Cryan, presented a range of gifts, including jewellery, watches, luggage and garden benches, as awards for their long and continuous service. 

Heading the list for the long service awards were two members of staff who have spent 40 years with the University, Mr John Day and Mr Kevin Rowles, both from the Business School.  There were seven who have spent 35 years with the University and five with 30 years’ service.  Then came a group of 23 who have all served for 25 years.
