Huddersfield Students’ Union sign partnership with Huddersfield Giants.
Following the historic 2013 campaign which saw the Huddersfield Giants lift the League Leaders Shield for the first time in 81 years, the Claret and Gold are back and ready to make their mark on the 2014 season.
The Giants are looking to build on the success of 2013 with the signings of marquee players such as Antonio Kaufusi, Chris Bailey and Jodie Broughton. These signings have added to the internationally recognised squad led by arguably the best kicker in the game and ‘Man of Steel’ Danny Brough.
The First Utility Super League campaign began last Friday with the Giants recording a memorable 24-8 victory over Wigan Warriors. The League Leaders return to action at the John Smith’s Stadium for their home opener against Hull Kingston Rovers on Sunday 23 February, kick off 3.00pm.
The Giants and the University of Huddersfield are delighted to once again offer staff members the opportunity to purchase home match tickets at the discounted rate of £15 (match day price £24) throughout 2014.
The Students’ Union partnership with Huddersfield Giants, in addition to their partnership with Huddersfield Town Football Club, is part of their commitment to making student and staff life better.
Staff tickets for the game against Hull KR are on sale now from both the Students’ Union Helpdesk located upstairs in Student Central or the John Smith’s Stadium Ticket Office.
Please note that this offer is limited to two per staff member and tickets are for the Direct Golf Lower Tier Stand. Please bring along your staff ID card.
Huddersfield Giants stars Michael Lawrence and Jason Chan will be making a special appearance at Student Central with the League Leaders Shield on Tuesday 18 February between 12.00noon and 1.00pm.
