Pageturners Book Festival

Pageturners Festival The University of Huddersfield will host the finale of the Pageturners Festival 2014 - the children and young people’s book festival for Calderdale & Kirklees (run in parallel to the Huddersfield Literature Festival).  The festival runs from 7 – 15 March with a week full of events and activities for all the family to enjoy in schools, libraries and town halls. 

The finale event on Saturday 15 March takes place here at the University and will be packed with fun and entertainment including storytelling, street theatre and workshops from a range of artists including:

• Annabel Pitcher, local author of Ketchup Clouds,
• Paul Dowswell, author of Auslander
• Susanna Meese, storyteller,
• Crafty Praxis, craft sessions.

Tickets are priced at £10 for a family day ticket (max. 2 adults and 3 children 16 and under) and £3 for individual day tickets.
