About this Event
Brendan Gunn, accent and dialect coach to the Hollywood stars (including Robert DeNiro, Brad Pitt, and Penelope Cruz), will be marking the occasion with a public lecture on his experiences of linguistics work in the film industry. Reflecting on his academic background in dialectology and sociolinguistics, Brendan will explain the importance of linguistics in his work with actors.
