HarvestHud is a student led volunteering society whose mission is to support a Huddersfield food bank, The Welcome Centre, by growing fresh vegetables and collecting donations of non-perishable food items. This Christmas HarvestHud is running a donation drive with collection points located at all student accommodation receptions as well as the iPoint and each of the University cafes.
Donations are welcome of any of the following items which can be brought to any of the collection points:
Pasta, rice, noodles and cereal
Tinned vegetables and tinned meat/fish
Soup, beans and instant mashed potato
Luxury items such as chocolates and sweets
Shower gel, soap, shampoo etc.
Your donations will help families and individuals in crisis this Christmas. Collection points will be in place until Friday 19 December.
