Honorary Awards

Nominations are now being invited for Honorary Awards to be conferred at the graduation ceremonies in 2015.
Honorary awards may be conferred for service to the University or for the achievement of distinction in science and technology, learning, the arts, business and the professions, and in public life.
The honorary awards available are Doctor of the University (Hon DUniv), Fellow of the University (Hon UHFellow), Emeritus/Emerita Vice-Chancellor, Emeritus/Emerita Professor and Emeritus/Emerita Dean.
Nominations should be sent to Helen Corbishley in Registry using the nomination form, which can be found here with the guidelines: Honorary Awards You can submit your nomination form by internal mail or as an email attachment.
Nominations for approval by University Council in November should be submitted no later than Friday 12 September 2014. Nominations for approval in July should be submitted no later than Friday 13 February 2015.
You will not be notified of the Committee’s decision until after the University Council have approved the nominations at its meeting.
