Save energy over the Christmas holiday

To help us to save energy and associated costs over the Christmas holiday please remember to switch off any equipment which is not needed, including:
Office Equipment
- PCs
- Monitors
- Laptops
- Printers
- Scanners
- Photocopiers
- Lights
- Chargers
- Kettles
Laboratory equipment
Please switch off all laboratory equipment that is not being used over the Christmas Holiday. If in doubt please ask one of your technicians who will be able to assist.
Lights
- Please ensure that lights in your work space are switched off.
- In the interests of safety, lights in circulation areas including staircases and corridors should be left switched on. The Campus Support Officers will switch these off when they have checked that the building has been vacated.
Please support your colleagues and remind them to switch off their equipment.
