Legal Advice Clinic Now Open!

The University of Huddersfield’s long-awaited Legal Advice Clinic is now open in the Packhorse Centre. Students felt that the off-campus location in the middle of town would make the clinic more approachable for the public and this has certainly been the case with no more appointments now available in 2013!
Alongside a significant research grant, the University has invested a great deal in the project and this has certainly paid off given the fantastic facilities. There is a welcoming reception area that is inviting to the public and the interview rooms themselves are designed to engender a sympathetic atmosphere whilst also ensuring client privacy. Meanwhile upstairs there are areas for students to carry out legal research in a relaxed, work-friendly environment.
