You may have heard in the news recently that Adobe were hacked and millions of Adobe accounts were compromised, this included the encrypted password.
Our IT network provider (JaNET) have provided Computing Services with a report of all @hud.ac.uk email accounts that may have been registered with Adobe.
As a precautionary measure, to make sure that the information the hackers obtained does not affect the security on the University network we will be forcing all those on the list to re-set their password the next time they log in. We will start this work Thursday 14 November.
