SCALA Prize for Ben

The excellent second year performance of Air Transport & Logistics Management student Ben Middleton was recognised through the award of the annual SCALA prize.
Ben, who is currently on placement with DHL, attended a prestigious event at the Innovation Centre in February where he was awarded a cash prize and certificate by the Managing Director of SCALA Consulting, John Perry. SCALA, based in Huddersfield, specialise in logistics and supply chain consulting and have previously employed several University of Huddersfield logistics graduates.
David Leach, Senior Lecturer commented "Ben thoroughly deserved this award - he performed to a high standard throughout the year, producing some outstanding work in individual and team assignments".
