Honorary Awards

Nominations are now being invited for Honorary Awards to be conferred at the award ceremonies in 2015. Please note that nominations for honorary awards in July 2014 can still be accepted up until the closing date of 14 February 2014.
Honorary awards may be conferred for service to the University or for the achievement of distinction in science and technology, learning, the arts, business and the professions, and in public life.
Awards available include Honorary Doctor of the University (Hon DUniv), Honorary Master of Arts (Hon MA), Honorary Master of Science (Hon MSc) and Honorary Fellow of the University.
Nominations should be sent to Helen Corbishley in Registry using the nomination form available via Registry’s webpage Awards either by internal mail or as an e-mail attachment.
Nominations for approval by University Council in July should be submitted no later than Friday 14 February 2014. Nominations for approval in November should be submitted no later than Friday 5 September 2014.
You will not be notified of the Committee’s decision until after the University Council have approved the nominations at its meeting.
