BSA symposium success for Huddersfield postgraduate researchers

A team of postgraduate researchers at the University of Huddersfield have been awarded funding to host a British Sociological Association symposium in June 2014
The event is entitled Citizenship in the 21st Century: Sociological, Political and Cultural Perspectives.
This interdisciplinary symposium will addresses the following key themes:
• Race and ethnicity
• Gender and sexuality
• Communication, rights and social movements
• Ecological and environmental issues
The event will be organised by Gavin Hart, Danielle Cutler, Victoria Byrne, Libby McEnhill and Camilo Tamayo Gómez.
