Fields: Journal of Huddersfield Student Research call for submissions out now – help identify outstanding student work for publication

We are currently looking for submissions for the fourth volume of Fields. All students on taught courses can submit and tutors are encouraged to nominate outstanding work. The journal will only accept submission from students registered at the University of Huddersfield and will include articles but also welcomes submissions from practice based research which can include poems, designs, music scores, drama productions, case studies etc. It is a really valuable opportunity for students to share their research with a global audience.

The first stage of selection will be undertaken at School level in June/July, mostly based on work submitted for assessment. For more details on how to get involved and to find your School contact take a look at the University Press page.

"Overall, what a fantastic opportunity. I couldn’t believe it when I was given the chance to undertake the work. Then it was selected and I received the bursary - amazing! Then there was the customary to and from between myself and the journal staff…it was all very exciting but demanded a lot of hard work - I already consider it to have been more than worth my time and effort, though!"
