Living Wage Increase

The new Living Wage was announced on Monday as £8.25 per hour. The University will implement this upgrade from 1 November 2015. The national pay award will be implemented from 1 August 2015 and any back pay is based on this. Any member of staff who remains below the Living Wage rate of £8.25ph on the 1 November will have their pay adjusted from this date. This will apply to all grade or points 5 and 4 of the University Pay spine.
