Three University of Huddersfield students celebrated their Student Leadership Awards with Vice-Chancellor Professor Bob Cryan on Tuesday 23 June.

Alizée Marchand, Christina Shevill and Clementine Crowther celebrated in style by sharing afternoon tea with the Vice-Chancellor.

They each received the Vice Chancellor’s award for Student Leadership which was celebrated during the May Students’ Union Awards ceremony.

The Student Leadership Awards aim is to help students take the next step after University and into working life by giving students a complete portfolio that represents key graduate competencies that employers are looking for. There are several levels of the award to work towards and those that display exceptional dedication are eligible for the Vice-Chancellor's Award.

Through their portfolio all three students demonstrated excellent examples of their involvement in student life, but they were also able to accurately reflect how they developed their skills in their participation of these activities, and understand the positive impact their actions have on others.

Congratulations to all three recipients of this award and all students who submitted a Student Leadership Award nomination this year.
